【摘要】:Thesaltremovalcapacityofapowderedresinprecoatislimitedbythecapacityofeithertheanion-exchangeresinorthecation-exchangeresincontainedinit.Applicationsincludecondensatepolishinginfossil-fueledelectricgeneratingplants,aswellascondensatepolishing,spentfuelpoolwatertreatment,reactorwatertreatment,andlow-levelradioactiveliquidwastetreatmentinnuclear-poweredelectricgeneratingplants.Bydeterminingtheion-exchangecapacityprofileofeitheracationexchangeresinorananion-exchangeresin(capacityexpendedperunitoftimeunderspecificconditions),itispossibletoestimaterunlengthandremainingcapacitywhentreatingaliquidofthesamemakeup.Althoughtheycannotaccuratelypredictperformanceduringcondenserleaks,thesetestmethodsareusefulfordeterminingoperatingcapacitiesasmeasuredunderthetestconditionsused.Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedtomonitortheperformanceofeitherpowderedanion-exchangeresinorpowderedcation-exchangeresin.Thetotalcapacityofeitherresindependsprimarilyuponthenumberdensityofion-exchangesiteswithintheresin.Theoperatingcapacityisafunctionofthetotalcapacity,degreeofconversiontothedesiredionicformwhenreceived,andpropertiesoftheresinandthesystemthataffectionexchangekinetics.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheoperatingion-exchangecapacityofbothpowderedcation-exchangeresins(hydrogenform)andpowderedanion-exchangeresins(hydroxideform).Thesetestmethodsareintendedforuseintestingnewpowderedion-exchangeresinswhenusedforthetreatmentofwater.Thefollowingtwotestmethodsareincluded:
