【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversflexibleleakresistantjointsforconcretegravityflowsewerpipeusingrubbergasketsforsealingthejoints,wheremeasurableordefinedinfiltrationorexfiltrationisafactorofthedesign.Thespecificationcoversthedesignofjointsandtherequirementsforrubbergasketstobeusedtherewith,forpipeconforminginallotherrespectstoSpecificationsC14,C76,C655,C985,andC1417,providedthat,ifthereisconflictinpermissiblevariationsindimension,therequirementsofthisspecificationshallgovernforjoints.Note1Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledpipelinearedependentuponmanyfactorsotherthanthejoints,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andperformanceoftherubbergasketjointonly.Jointscoveredbythisspecificationareforhydrostaticpressuresupto13psiwithoutleakage,whenplanttestedinaccordancewithSection10.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
