【摘要】:p>Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommericalshipmentssincethemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.Incasesofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthistestmethodforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingbegins.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Vinyl-coatedglassyarninsectscreeningandlouverclotharesubjectedtoaheatingprocesstofusethewarpyarnstothefillingyarnsofthewovenstructure.Theforceatwhichyarnsinonedirectionmoveoveryarnsintheoppositedirectionisameasureofthebondoffusion.Thedegreeofthebondoffusiononthevinyl-coatedglassyarninsectscreeningandlouverclothisusedforprocesscontrol.Fabricstabilitywasformerlycalledresistancetoyarnslippage.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforevaluatingfabricstabilitybymeasuringtheresistancetoyarnslippageoffillingyarnsoverwarpyarns,orwarpyarnsoverfillingyarnsinvinyl-coatedglassyarninsectscreeningandlouvercloth.1.2ThistestmethodshowsthevaluesinbothSIunitsandinch-poundunits.x201C;SIunitsx201D;isthetechnicallycorrectnameforasystemofmetricunitsknownastheInternationalSystemofUnits.x201C;Inch-poundunitsx201D;isthetechnicallycorrectnameforthecustomaryunitsusedintheUnitedStates.Thevaluesexpressedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
